Emerge + See
We’re in the midst of an incredible shift. Many of us are reinventing ourselves in some way–our work and service in the world, our relationships, finances, health habits, beliefs, you name it. At the same time, we have outside forces pushing us to make change, or minimally, to re-examine what we value.
The polarizing political landscape, natural disasters, and the pandemic have spurred us to see the realities of our current circumstances and understand where things are working and in flow, and what’s not. And now we’re emerging and dusting ourselves off to see what lies ahead.
I’d like to think that the changes I’ve experienced were in preparation for this year, yet I know that change doesn’t stop in our lives, it ebbs and flows and at times picks up speed when we least expect it–catapulting us onto new ground that can feel shaky until we get our footing beneath us. With good, happy miracles in our lives, or deeply sad moments, it still can require a reset.
If each one of us is pivoting in different parts of our lives, imagine the force and momentum stirring in the collective. We’ve been given a gift of remembering what we’re grateful for and what being successful truly means for us–propelling ourselves forward to be of service in our own unique way.
